Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump have been estranged for years but after learning the news of Vanderpump's mother Jean Vanderpump's passing earlier this week, the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star took to her Twitter page to send her condolences.

"[Lisa Vanderpump] and I will always have our differences but I don’t wish this kind of kiss and pain on anyone ever," Glanville wrote in her tweet.

While it seems highly unlikely that Vanderpump will actually respond to her former friend's message, a number of Glanville's fans and followers applauded her for reaching out. As fans will recall, Glanville and Vanderpump appeared alongside one another for years on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" but had a falling out during season four after Glanville accused Vanderpump of manipulating her and some of the other ladies on the show, including Kyle Richards.

Jean Vanderpump's death was unexpected

The Daily Mail was first to share news of Vanderpump's mom's passing and did so on Thursday, June 20. At the time, the outlet revealed that Jean Vanderpump had died suddenly on Monday, leading Vanderpump to halt production on her spinoff series, "Vanderpump Rules." Although Vanderpump didn't offer up a statement to the outlet in regard to her family tragedy, she did re-tweet a message on her Twitter page that said her mother is now an "angel."

Vanderpump has also pulled out of her upcoming appearance at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding, which is scheduled to take place at The Kentucky Castle on June 29.

Radar Online was first to report the news and explained that Taylor and Cartwright, who are currently in the midst of production on "Vanderpump Rules" season eight, completely understood her decision against attending.

Brandi Glanville returned to 'RHOBH' for season nine

Brandi Glanville was first included in the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast during the show's second season.

However, at the time, she was only featured in a part-time role. Then, after causing a stir with her co-stars throughout her first year, she was upgraded to a full-time role for the show's third season. From there, she continued to appear full-time until after season five, when she was axed from the series

Although Glanville did appear on the show's sixth season in a guest role, she was completely absent during the show's seventh and eighth seasons.

Then, after her longtime friend, actress Denise Richards, was added to the cast in a full-time, she returned to the show in a guest role for season nine.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs new episodes of season nine on Tuesday nights on Bravo TV at 9 p.m.
